International airport “Zaporizhzhya” handled 275 thousand passengers in 2016 that is two times more than during 2015. During 2016 the airport handled 2407 flights.
The strong growth in the year 2016 was mainly due to increased number of flights of “Motor Sich” to Kiev and “UIA” to Borispol, “Wind Rose”, “UIA”, and “Azor Air Ukraine” charter flights, international flights to Istanbul, that performs “Atlasglobal Ukraine”, «Pegasus Airlines» and «Turkish Airlines».
