Kyiv International Airport has significantly increased the passenger traffic in December 2016, compared with the same period of the last year.
Thus, in December 2016 the passenger traffic reached the mark of 108.2 thousand, which is 88.5% more than in the December 2015. A number of flights served during December 2016 are 1664 for arrival and departure, which is 35.4% more than in December 2015, including 1297 international flights and 367 domestic.
The most popular international destinations in December 2016 – Dubai (UAE), Minsk (Belarus), Sharm el Sheikh (Egipt), Budapest (Hungary), Hurghada (Egipt). The most popular domestic destinations: Odessa, Zaporizhia, Lviv.
In general, 2016 was the predictably successful, the airport handled 1 127.5 thousands passengers, which is 19.4% more than in 2015. A number of flights served in 2016 are 18268 for arrival and departure, which is 2.3% more than in 2015.
The most popular international destinations in January – December 2016 – Minsk (Belarus), Dubai (UAE), Budapest (Hungary), Antalya (Turkey), Dortmund (Germany). The most popular domestic destinations: Odessa, Zaporizhia, Lviv.
