As reported by FlightRadar24.com, there are currently 29 aircraft stranded in Ukraine, with the majority belonging to Ukrainian airlines. Among them, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has nine planes, Windrose Airlines has ten, Motor Sich Airlines has seven, and Hungarian airline Wizz Air has three. Additionally, Aviacionline revealed that there are eight aircraft operated by Azur Air Ukraine stuck in Kyiv, bringing the total number to 37.
Most of Ukraine International Airlines’ (UIA) grounded jets are currently located at Kyiv Boryspil International Airport (KBP), with four Boeing 737s and four Embraer E190/E195s. However, one E190 is stuck at Odesa International Airport in Southern Ukraine. Wizz Air’s three Airbus A320s are stationed at Kyiv Zhuliany Airport (IEV), the second airport in the capital. Windrose Airlines and Motor Sich Airlines have their planes spread across several airports, including Kyiv Boryspil, Dnipro International Airport (DNK), Zaporizhzhia International Airport (OZH), Kharkiv International Airport (HRK), and Mykolaiv International Airport (NLV).
SkyUp Airlines managed to pull one of its Boeing 737s out of Ukraine recently.
