In Vinnytsia, a cat cafe “Khvostyky” was opened, where they will find homes for homeless animals.
The cafe is located at street Keletska 60. Currently, there are 10 cats who were rescued from the streets of the city. They are vaccinated, treated against parasites and have passports. Now the animals are looking for new owners.
Kotokafe is open every day from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Entrance is paid (UAH 50), there is a discount for privileged categories of the population, and for military personnel and rescuers, entrance is free. The money for the entrance is used to keep and care for the cats.
There is also an age limit for visitors – 13+. Elizaveta says that this is done for the comfort of the animals.
Among the rules are also: wear shoe covers and disinfect your hands upon entering, do not wake sleeping cats, do not take photos with a flash, do not hold animals without their consent, and wash your hands before and after interacting with animals. Also, visitors are not allowed to feed animals.
To pick up an animal, you need to fill out a form and go through a short interview.
