The Bike City Consulting team presented a draft visualization of the interurban cycling route “Bucha – Irpin – Kyiv”. The cycling route is ambitious, requires the involvement and interest of three cities and Ukravtodor, but it is absolutely realistic and, if desired, implemented.
The relevance of the project is due to the fact that the pre-war indicators of cycling in the direction of Irpin and Bucha were the highest in the entire Kyiv agglomeration.
It is planned that the approximate length of the cycling route will be 19 km – this is the distance from the center of Bucha to the metro station “Akademgorodok”. In addition, the route provides infrastructure: bike racks, self-service stations, drinking water stations and waiting stations at regulated intersections.
