In Chernihiv, within the residential neighborhood of Masani, plans are underway for the construction of residential buildings and a kindergarten. The project will be funded by the Danish “Fund for Reconstruction of Ukraine,” as announced by the Chernihiv City Council.
It’s anticipated that a tender for the building design will be announced shortly, followed by the selection of the design firm and developer. Construction is set to commence in February 2025, with completion slated for the latter half of 2027.
The project entails the erection of seven modern, environmentally sustainable, and energy-efficient buildings, accommodating a total of 410 apartments. Additionally, a kindergarten capable of hosting 200 children will be constructed. The estimated budget for the project ranges from 20 to 25 million euros.
The Acting Mayor stressed that these apartments will become property of the city’s community and will be allocated to residents of Chernihiv who have lost their homes due to Russia’s military aggression.
