During January 2017 Danylo Halytskyi International Airport “Lviv” handled 58,5 thousand passengers that is 55,2% more than during January 2016 (37,7 thousand passengers). The passenger traffic on domestic flights amounted to 12,3 thousand passengers (21%) and on international –46,2 thousand passengers(79%).
The most popular destinations by passenger traffic were the following: Hurghada and Istanbul (SAW, IST), Boryspil (KB Warsaw, Hurghada and Minsk. During January 2017 the airport handled 715 flights: 559 (78%) of them were international and 156 (22%) domestic. Top-5 destinations by the number of operated flights were the following: Istanbul (SAW, IST), Warsaw, Boryspil (KBP), Minsk and Munich.
