AeroTransfer to expedite travel for Ukrainians heading to Chisinau Airport in Moldova with a new bus from Odesa to Chisinau.
Under the condition of having airplane tickets, passengers will be able to use a special transfer service from Odesa to the Chisinau airport, as reported by Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, in a Telegram message.
AeroTransfer aims to ease congestion at border checkpoints, particularly in the Mayaky-Palanca-Udobne border crossing area. This initiative will reduce the number of vehicles and people at the border, speeding up the crossing procedure.
Additionally, the organized transportation of passengers will decrease the burden on roads in the Odesa region caused by private cars and improve the level of service in the international transportation sector.
However, the project still requires buses for passenger transportation. In this regard, assistance from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is anticipated. The UNDP has already selected 20 projects in the Odesa region, allocating funds totaling 29 million euros.
