Edelweiss to fly to Argentina

Edelweiss is expanding its long-haul route network to South America. Starting in November 2018, the carrier will offer two weekly direct flights from Zurich to Argentina’s capital Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires is not just the world’s tango capital, but also enthrals with abundant cultural diversity, fascinating architecture, first-class soccer and arguably the world’s best meat. Thanks to the city’s impressive diversity the capital of Argentina is also referred to as the “ Paris of South America”. As well as offering a host of sights and attractions, Buenos Aires is also an excellent starting point for day trips or onward travel to explore the beauty of Argentina.

Bernd Bauer, CEO of Edelweiss: “Argentina has been on our wish list for a very long time. I am convinced that our passengers will love our new holiday destination and that the direct flights to Buenos Aires will be very popular.”

Starting on 7th November 2018, Edelweiss will operate twice-weekly direct flights from Zurich to Buenos Aires with an Airbus A340, departing on Wednesdays and Saturdays respectively, The flights will be available for booking as of early December 2017 at flyedelweiss.com, or via any of the usual sales channels.
