The Italian airline Ernest Airlines will open two regular flights from Kharkiv to Rome and Milan. The launch date is March 21, 2019. Ticket prices start at €45 one way, including taxes and hand luggage. Flights will be on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Ernest Airlines and Kharkiv International Airport, have signed a long-term collaborative partnership agreement which will provide direct flights connecting Kharkiv International Airport with the two most important cities of Italy.
According to the president of the airline, Kharkiv was chosen due to such factors as its location in a strategic area covering the entire East of Ukraine, dense population and high demand from citizens. Ukrainians often fly to Italy to relax, work or visit relatives and friends. And Italians often do business in Ukraine.
Flights to Italy will be carried out by the new Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats. Tickets will be available from the next week on www.flyernest.com site, as well as travel and ticket agencies.
