Since the introduction of the health passport in France, visitors who were vaccinated outside the EU have needed to convert their vaccine certificates to a format that is compatible with the French system. Travellers from countries outside the EU and the EEA will no longer be eligible to convert their vaccination certificates into French Health Passes online. This applies to anyone who was vaccinated outside of the EU, Schengen zone or the UK.
From now on, third-country travellers in France will have to obtain a health pass at one of the designated pharmacies in the country while also paying a fee of €36 per application. No prior appointment is required for converting the pass.

The health pass is required to enter indoor areas, including here restaurants, bars, shopping centres, marquees, theatres, sporting or cultural performance venues, conference rooms, zoological, amusement and theme parks, stadiums, sports establishments, swimming pools, sports halls, cinemas, libraries, discotheques, dance clubs, etc.
A French Health Pass can be obtained by those who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with one of the vaccines accepted by France, those who test negative for COVID-19 within the last 72 hours, as well as those who hold positive results of an RT-PCR or antigen test attesting to recovery from COVID-19, dating at least 11 days and less than six months.
The accepted vaccines in France are Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson. For a traveller to obtain the pass, seven days must have passed since the second injection with any of the three first vaccines. For those vaccinated with the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, 28 days must have passed.
