In 2024, hotel prices in Bukovel increased by 24% compared to the previous year, according to an analysis by HotelMatrix. The most significant price hikes were observed in January and December. The average price for a night in January 2023 was 5,785 UAH, while in January 2024, it rose to 7,457 UAH. In December 2024, the average price also increased significantly from 6,599 UAH to 8,867 UAH.
Price Surge in Summer and Fall
While prices fell in February and March of the previous year, there was a sharp price increase starting in August 2024. In October 2024, prices nearly doubled, indicating higher demand for accommodation during this period.
Hotel Occupancy
The hotel occupancy rate in Bukovel at the end of 2024 was 56%, which remained largely unchanged compared to the previous year. However, there was a noticeable drop in occupancy during the summer and fall months, while there was a significant rise in demand during the spring months.
Profitability Per Room
Despite stable occupancy rates, the profitability per room increased by 29%, rising to 2,900 UAH — up from 2,240 UAH in 2023. This increase in price alongside stable demand suggests effective adjustments to the pricing strategy of Bukovel hotels, as well as a focus on more profitable market segments.
