Ukraine’s main Christmas tree in Kyiv this year will be artificial and will reach 12 meters in height. The main decoration will be energy-saving garlands, which will work from a generator.
The Christmas tree will be decorated with decorations from past years and toys provided by businesses and patrons: blue and yellow balls and white doves. The top of the Christmas tree will be decorated with the coat of arms of Ukraine. The lower part of the Christmas tree will be decorated with stands with flags of friendly countries that help Kyiv in wartime.
Instead of the usual Christmas fair and food court near the Christmas tree in Kyiv on Sofiivska Square, points for recharging gadgets are going to be set up. The City Hall also promised to hand over this generator to the military after the holidays.
No entertainment events are planned in Kyiv for the holidays.
