Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has announced the development of a plan for the mass construction of dual-purpose facilities that can be used as shelters during wartime and for other purposes in peacetime.
The plan includes the construction and arrangement of protected parking lots, shelters, and halls in kindergartens and schools, as well as underground passages.
According to the mayor, this project is funded from the city budget, with an allocation of 10 million UAH for each district of Kyiv.
The capital already has over four thousand shelters of various types. Over 350 million UAH is planned to be allocated in 2023 for repairs and equipping of these shelters.
Kharkiv bus stops have evolved in style and function- 25 new bus stop shelters will be functioning in the city within a month.
