LOT Polish Airlines has announced the resumption of flights between Krakow and Bydgoszcz starting in June 2025, marking a return to this seasonal route. The airline first launched the Krakow-Bydgoszcz-Krakow flights in June 2021, and the route will once again be available during the high summer season. With this move, LOT aims to provide travelers with more accessible and convenient travel options between the two cities.
Seasonal Flights with Increased Frequency
LOT’s Krakow-Bydgoszcz flights will operate with a frequency of two rotations per week, departing from Krakow on Mondays and Fridays at 20:40. The flight time is approximately 45 minutes, with arrivals in Bydgoszcz scheduled just over an hour later. Return flights to Krakow will depart at 06:50 on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The resumption of the route will see 82-seat Embraer 175s serving the connection, offering a total of 4,482 seats over the course of the summer season. A total of 27 rotations (54 flights) will be available for booking, allowing passengers to enjoy affordable travel options between these two Polish cities.
Affordable Pricing for Travelers
The airline is offering competitive pricing for the Krakow-Bydgoszcz route, with return flights starting at PLN 199 in the cheapest economy class fare. One-way tickets are available from approximately PLN 120, making the flights an appealing choice for both business and leisure travelers looking to explore this region of Poland.
A Continued Commitment to Regional Connectivity
LOT’s decision to resume this connection highlights its commitment to enhancing regional connectivity within Poland. The airline continues to focus on providing affordable air travel options that connect major cities, catering to the needs of both domestic and international travelers. The summer 2025 route will be an important part of LOT’s network expansion, offering more convenient travel choices for residents and tourists alike.
Additionally, LOT is expected to maintain its Warsaw-Bydgoszcz flights, following a recent tender for the promotion of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship region, where LOT was the sole bidder for the contract. This underscores the national carrier’s ongoing commitment to connecting Polish cities and promoting regional tourism.
Convenient Travel for Summer Adventures
With flights starting in June and continuing until mid-September, LOT’s Krakow-Bydgoszcz route provides an excellent option for those looking to explore Poland’s picturesque regions during the summer months. Whether you’re a business traveler or a tourist eager to discover new places, this direct air connection offers a time-saving and budget-friendly way to journey between two important Polish cities.
