McDonald’s has officially opened its first restaurant in Kovel, located in the Volyn region of Ukraine. Conveniently situated on the international M07 highway, the new location offers easy access for both city residents and travelers.
The restaurant spans an area of 469 m² and accommodates 128 seats indoors and 126 seats on the terrace. Guests can place their orders at traditional counters or through self-service kiosks. For added convenience, the restaurant operates two “McDrive” lanes, available from 5:00 AM to 11:30 PM, and features additional parking spaces. Cyclists are also catered to with an on-site bike parking area.
Resilience and Accessibility
In response to potential power outages, the restaurant is equipped with a generator to ensure uninterrupted service. This location marks the 107th McDonald’s in Ukraine and the 19th to open since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. However, 15 restaurants across the country remain closed due to safety concerns.
