A new automobile border crossing point, “Nyzhankovychi – Malhowice,” will commence operations on the Ukrainian-Polish border on December 20, 2024. The new facility will be open to both passenger and freight transport. Pedestrian crossings will be introduced later, following the completion of the necessary infrastructure.
The opening of this new border crossing is expected to reduce congestion at existing points and improve the flow of traffic across the border. Additionally, it will enhance opportunities for Ukrainian exports, facilitating more efficient trade routes with Poland and the broader European Union.
This development underscores ongoing efforts to modernize and expand border infrastructure, supporting economic ties and easing travel for citizens and businesses on both sides.
