New Mountain Village Kryla Karpaty Under Construction Near Bukovel

Just 11 kilometers from the popular ski resort Bukovel, a new mountain village, Kryla Karpaty, is taking shape on the slopes of the Chornohora Range. The settlement, located at an altitude of 895 meters above sea level, will feature 100 homes designed to accommodate 300–400 people simultaneously.

The development will include three types of homes: cottages, chalets, and villas. The largest, a villa, spans 250 square meters, while the smallest, a chalet, measures 50–60 square meters.

In addition to housing, the project plans to incorporate a range of amenities. A wellness center and spa with a gym, a spiritual center, and a mountain observatory equipped with a telescope will enrich the community. The site will also feature a Museum of the Mountains, two marketplaces, a coworking space, an amphitheater, a children’s center, a hostel, and sports courts.

The project is scheduled for phased completion, with the first stage expected to be operational in 2025 and full completion anticipated by 2028.

This ambitious project follows a broader trend of developing mountain tourism in Ukraine. Not far away, in Slavske, Lviv region, plans are underway for the Goro Mountain Resort, a new ski destination aimed at boosting the region’s appeal to outdoor enthusiasts.
