The first flight of the national carrier Ukrainian National Airlines (UNA) will take place by the end of 2022.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking in the Verkhovna Rada with an annual message, the presidential press service reports.
“The first flight of the national carrier will be in 2022. By 2025 the company’s fleet will be fully formed – at least 20 ships. Regular flights will be opened both inside and outside. The Ukrainian carrier should be seen not only in Ukraine but also around the world “And this will be greatly helped by the open skies agreement, the visa waiver, which we have finally signed with the European Union,” the president said.
