Alex Cooper has announced the reopening of the Odesa Food Market in Odesa, Ukraine. In a statement, he mentioned, “At this moment, I want to tell you that we are building a large restaurant in Odesa and reopening the Odesa Food Market.” Additionally, Cooper expressed interest in discovering exciting food projects throughout the country.
The Odesa Food Market, comprising 14 food stalls and three bars in the center of Odesa, is the first food market in Ukraine. Despite not operating since the full-scale invasion, the market is now set to resume its activities. During this period, the space housed the Humanitarian Volunteer Center, serving as a hub for assisting those affected by the conflict.
A similar concept, the Kyiv Food Market, is already operational in Kyiv.
