Odesa sea port authority has received notification from the international cruise companies about 36 planned ship calls with tourists on board this year.
“By January 26, the administration of Odesa port has received 36 port call applications from cruise companies. The arrival of liners will depend on the situation in Ukraine and Odessa port at the start of the season – in April – May. The Port Authority will do everything possible to attract tourists to the Black Sea region,”- Ukrainian Sea Port Authority stated.
Last year, only 13 cruise ships visited Odessa sea port, but the 48th MedCruise General Assembly (“MedCruise”) will be held in Odesa in June 2016, which may help to an increase the number of cruise ships.
