Polish railway company PKP Intercity has released a new schedule for 2024, effective from December 10. The number of international connections in the new schedule will increase by 11, reaching a total of 63 daily routes.
From Warsaw to Berlin, there will be four express trains per day, with the fastest journey taking 5 hours and 21 minutes. A new route from Krakow to Berlin will also be introduced. The IC Chopin train, connecting Warsaw with Vienna, will continue, offering travel to Germany with stops in Prague and Vienna.
The daily IC Odra train will link Krakow with Berlin, making stops in Katowice, Opole, Wroclaw, and Zielona Gora. The IC Danubius train will provide morning connections between Wroclaw and Krakow with Vienna, as well as evening returns. The train will consist of two groups of cars, which will be joined in Bohumin, from where all passengers will continue to Austria.
PKP Intercity is the largest Polish rail operator that connects the centres of large towns and cities and popular tourist resorts in Poland, and enables comfortable travel across Europe. Every day the carrier starts approximately 400 trains.
