On June 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed bill No. 10265, establishing a unified roaming system with the European Union, according to the Verkhovna Rada.
What does the law on the unified roaming system with the EU change?
The law ensures Ukraine’s integration into the joint Ukraine-EU roaming zone. Under the “Roam Like at Home” (RLAH) program, Ukrainian mobile services in the EU will be included in the user’s home service package, with calls, SMS, and data transmission charged according to domestic rates without additional fees.
European mobile users will also enjoy the benefits of the joint roaming zone while in Ukraine.
