“Marmaro Express”, connecting Ukraine and Romania by rail, will make its first ride on January 18, 2023.
“Marmaro Express” No. 755/756 and No. 753/754 “Rakhiv – Valya-Višeului – Rakhiv”, thanks to which the railway connection between Ukraine and Romania will be restored, will have a convenient connection with a number of trains in both countries.
As reported in the press service of “Ukrzaliznytsia“, from January 18, 2023, flights will depart from Rakhiv every day at 6:10 a.m. and 2:10 p.m. and arrive in Vali-Višeului at 7:45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m., respectively. Trains will depart from Vali-Višeului at 11:45 and 18:15 and arrive in Rakhiv at 12:20 and 18:50 respectively.
At the same time, “Ukrzaliznytsia” appointed train No. 810/809 “Lviv – Rakhiv – Lviv”, which will depart from Lviv at 7:00 a.m. and arrive in Rakhiv at 1:20 p.m. In the return direction, from Rahiv, the train will depart at 2:34 p.m. and arrive in Lviv at 8:50 p.m.
Also, the schedule of arrivals and departures of the train “Rakhiv – Valia-Višeului – Rakhiv” is adapted to the schedules of a number of trains of the Romanian Railways. Yes, passengers arriving at Valia-Višeului station will be able to transfer to other flights going to Bucharest and Cluj stations:
Train R4116 “Valia Višeului – Bucharest” (departs at 17:16, arrives in Bucharest at 6:35. Return train IRN1641 departs from Bucharest at 21:01, arrives in Vali Višeului at 8:52)
Train R04116 “Valia-Višeului – Cluj” (departure at 17:16, arrival at Cluj station at 23:00. Departure from Cluj station of train R4110 at 3:35, arrival at Vali-Višeului at 8:52)
