SkyUp Airlines has announced the sale of air tickets for two new routes between Prague and Ukraine to be launched 17 October 2019. The carrier will fly from Vaclav Havel Airport Prague to both Kharkiv and Lviv twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. The airline will fly the Boeing 737-800 configured for 189 passengers on this year-round connection. According to Prague Airport’s estimates, the service could be used by as many as 60,000 passengers in both directions every year. This means that starting in October, passengers will be able to choose from among four direct flights from Prague to Ukraine.
The new services to Kharkiv and Lviv will help promote tourism in both countries and will be used by Czech passengers, but mainly by Ukrainian tourists, whose number in the Czech Republic has been growing. This will also make travelling between the Czech Republic and other destinations in Ukraine easier for the large Ukrainian community that has lived and worked here for a long time.
Tickets will go on sale on 7 August 2019.
