SkyUp Airlines always strives to make the flight comfortable, and therefore, in April 2021, it launches a new service: packing extra things in a bag or fabric bag. Currently, the service will be available at Boryspil International Airport only.
This year SkyUp has increased the weight of a free piece of hand luggage from 7 to 9 kg. However, it often happens that passengers try to take more things on board: coats, umbrellas, duty free goods, etc. In such cases, passengers can:
Purchase an additional piece of hand luggage for $25* or baggage 45*.
Pack all your accessories and one of the paid items of hand luggage in a special bag or a more durable bag made of fabric, but so that they correspond to the established dimensions of 55x40x20 cm (the SkyUp bag and fabric bag have exactly these dimensions). The service costs $1* and $10*.
The service is relevant for all SkyUp fares. According to the terms of the Basic fare, each passenger can take one free piece of hand luggage weighing 9 kg and measuring 55x40x20 cm. According to the terms of the Standard fare, one can carry two pieces of hand luggage for free (9 kg 55x40x20 cm + 5 kg 35x20x10 cm). Flex ticket provides an opportunity to take on board two pieces of hand luggage weighing 9 kg and measuring 55x40x20 cm each.
Starting from 1 April, for free transportation, duty free goods also need to be packed into a bag/suitcase with hand luggage or a passenger needs to order extra place.
