According to the statistical data for January, Kharkiv residents and city guests continue to actively use air transport services for comfortably traveling on vacation, and on business trips. In the first month of the year, International airport “Kharkiv” handled 46,900 passengers – compared to the same period of the last year, this is an improvement by 45%. The share of passenger traffic on international flights was 73%.
As before, regular flights to Istanbul from Pegasus and Atlasglobal, Kyiv (UIA), Minsk (Belavia), Warsaw (LOT), Kutaisi (UIA), Tel Aviv (UIA) provide the main load for the airport. In addition to regular routes, in January of 2017 Kharkiv passengers have also frequently used charter flights. Charter flights to sunny Sharm El Sheikh, serviced by Windrose, Azur Air Ukraine and Bravo airlines were especially popular this month.
At the moment, International Airport “Kharkiv” is working on the expansion of the route network. In the near future, Kharkiv residents and city guests will have new traveling opportunities. In particular, new regular flights to Istanbul and Tbilisi are launching this spring, and the tickets are available now.
