Ministry of Culture of Ukraine launches register of cultural heritage to help return exhibits stolen by Russia, said Anastasia Bondar, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy.
The Ministry of Culture initiated two projects. The first is the digitization of the museum fund of Ukraine.
The second is the online register, which will include a list of all cultural and archaeological heritage sites and further interact with other registers related to reconstruction. Such interaction should prevent corruption schemes.
As of June 15, 2022, the ICIP has documented more than 380 episodes of Russian crimes against Ukrainian cultural heritage.
We will remind, information concerning crimes of Russians in the territory of Ukraine continues to arrive. ICIP specialists check and systematize the obtained data and publish them on a special website: culturecrimes.mkip.gov.ua.
