On 15 March, Turkey unveils new entry rules. All travellers, including Ukrainians, must fill out an online form that contains personal data.
Visit https://register.health.gov.tr/ to fill out your form: you’ll be asked to enter your passport details, date of arrival, mode of transport you’ll use to leave the country, and other information. Once the form is filled out, you’ll receive an individual HES code. It’ll be used to contact you quickly if you have COVID-19 while on vacation or have been in contact with an infected person.
The form must be filled out 72 hours before you arrive in Turkey. It must be printed out or downloaded to your mobile device to make sure you can produce it to an airline employee at the airport of departure. You’ll be denied boarding if you fail to produce the form.
The new rule doesn’t apply to international transit passengers.
The earlier Turkey entry requirements remain in force. You must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test you underwent at least 72 hours before crossing the border and health insurance covering COVID-19 treatment.
