On 16 September, Ukrainian International Airlines resumed direct flights from Kharkiv International Airport to Tel Aviv after a quarantine break. Currently, flights are operated once a week. In September, departures from Kharkiv take place every Wednesday, arrivals—every Thursday. In October, the schedule changes: departures will be performed every Sunday, arrivals to Kharkiv—every Monday.
The cost of tickets starts at UAH 3556 one way without luggage. You can buy them on the website of the airport, the website of the air carrier, and book them at the airport ticket offices at 0 800 303 803.
As of 16 September, there are restrictions on the entry of foreigners into Israel, except for certain categories of citizens. We recommend that you read the terms of visiting the country at tripadvisor.mfa.gov.ua, as well as at the embassy or consulate of Israel. In addition, please make sure you have all the necessary documents: visas, permits, certificates, insurance, etc., and please study the requirements for the flight of the airport and airline.
Given that Israel is a country included in the ‘red zone’, passengers of Tel Aviv–Kharkiv flight should check out the plan of action after arriving in Ukraine. We also remind you that entry of foreign citizens to Ukraine is temporarily prohibited. The restriction is in force until 28 September but does not apply to a wide range of passengers.
