Uklon, a popular ride-hailing app, has announced the launch of a new weekly ski bus service connecting Kyiv with the popular Ukrainian ski resort of Bukovel. The service will operate from December 12, 2024, until mid-March.
Departing every Thursday from Kyiv’s central bus station, the ski bus will arrive at the Polyanytsa bus station in Bukovel. The return journey will be on Sundays. Tickets can be purchased online and are priced at 1,200 UAH per one-way trip.
To enhance the passenger experience, each bus is equipped with Wi-Fi, power outlets, heating, and a television. Additionally, passengers can bring their ski equipment without any extra charge.
Beyond the scheduled bus service, Uklon will also offer on-demand taxi services within Bukovel and for longer-distance trips to nearby tourist destinations in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The cost of these rides will vary depending on factors such as demand, driver availability, peak hours, weather conditions, and road traffic.
This new initiative from Uklon aims to provide a convenient and affordable transportation option for Ukrainians looking to enjoy the winter season in Bukovel. With the added convenience of on-demand taxi services, travelers can explore the region with greater flexibility.
