The first Nordic Therapy Garden in Ukraine has been opened in the Podil district of Kyiv, according to the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
This pioneering garden, created by a Danish-Ukrainian team of designers, is aimed at aiding individuals with psychological trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Mykola Povoroznyk, the First Deputy Head of the KCSA, highlighted that the garden is designed to facilitate the rehabilitation process for those in need.
The Nordic Therapy Garden incorporates research-based Scandinavian concepts of health and landscape design. It is intended not only to provide therapeutic benefits to individuals but also to raise awareness about mental health and innovative approaches to addressing mental health issues.
