Ukrainian Railways (UZ) has announced the launch of ticket sales to Dorohusk, which will temporarily serve as the final station for some of the regular trains to/from Chełm. The reason for this change is the renovation work on the Polish railway, which will start on June 23 and last until the end of summer.
“Therefore, if you are traveling to Warsaw or Lublin by transfer trains No. 23 Kyiv – Chełm, No. 93/94 Kharkiv – Chełm and No. 120 Chełm – Dnipro, look for them in the app by their destination “Dorohusk”. Our app will suggest this option when searching for Warsaw and Chełm,” UZ said.
The company also noted that during the renovation period, border and customs control will be carried out on the UZ train in Dorohusk. Tickets for the transfer Polish train from Dorohusk to Warsaw (via Chełm and Lublin) and back are already available on the website of the Polish carrier.
