Ukrainian railways invites you to spend the Christmas weekend on the Gaivoronska narrow-gauge railway, together with an ancient 70-year-old steam locomotive!
In November, Ukrainian railways successfully conducted two retro tours with a steam locomotive on the Hayvoron-Bershad route, and due to the great demand, the company announcing the next tour, which will take place on December 24. A trip on a retro train is waiting for you, which will be carried by a real German steam locomotive Gr-280. During the tour, you will be able to taste hot fish soup and kulish with cracklings on the banks of the Southern Bug, go on an excursion to the locomotive depot and get acquainted with the work of a rare narrow-gauge railway.
Passengers can also enjoy a cultural program from the local community with fiery Ukrainian songs and dances, the opportunity to ride on the unique GAZ-12 “Zim” motorcar and much more!
