May 10, 2017, Ukrferry launched service between Odessa, Ukraine and Istanbul Haydarpasa, Turkey. Ro-Ro/Rail/Passenger «Kaunas Seaways» ferry will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays between the port of Chernomorsk (Odessa) and Istanbul (Haydarpasa terminal).
The vessel offers comfortable passenger facilities for up to 250 persons with a choice of cabins ranging from Suite and Junior Suite to double, triple and quadruple occupancy staterooms all with shower and w/c.
Common on-board passenger facilities include a restaurant, bar, recreation saloon, video and satellite TV salon, children playground. Vessel’s excellent navigability coupled with her dimensions with an overall length exceeding 190 m and a beam of 28 m reduces and stabilises rolling and pitching even under stormy conditions.
The two cargo decks are capable of loading both 49 railcars and 50 lorries at the same time.Average sea passage time – 27 hours.
