Wizz Air announces a new service from Kyiv to Leipzig in Germany. Leipzig is also a new destination in the WIZZ network available only from Kyiv for now. The first flight to this new stationcommence on 5 July. With this new service operating on Mondays and Fridays, WIZZ offers Ukrainian passengers new opportunities to plan their next city break in Germany with fares from just EUR 19.99 / UAH 609*.
Widely known as a center of international trade fairs, Leipzig has much more than that to offer its visitors and can become a great getaway to the eastern part of Germany. With this new route Kyiv-Leipzig, Wizz Air is now offering a total of 45 routes to 13 countries from Ukraine. The airline’s operations continue to provide Ukrainian passengers affordable travel opportunities between Ukraine and the rest of Europe, while contributing to the development of the local community and economy and stimulating the local job market in aviation and tourism sectors. In the first three months of 2019, WIZZ carried nearly 450,000 passengers on its low fare routes to and from Ukraine, which represents a more than 80% growth year over year and makes Wizz Air the largest low-cost carrier in Ukraine.
